Holiday Gift Guide

There are three sections to the gift guide: Self Care, Nourishing and Other Bits.

Self Care includes items that are calming for the nervous system and support “rest and digest”.

Nourishing lists foods and supplements that nourish and build up the body.

Other Bits includes a selection of fun, clean and nourishing products that all help you to bio-hack your body.

I use and love all the above self care items:

1- Five Minute Journal - This is a gratitude journal! Note down 3 things morning and night that you are grateful for. Studies have shown this to rewire the brain and improve happiness. One of my favourite self care hacks. Available from their website or on Amazon.

2- Sensate - Calms the body down and mimics what meditation does. Done over 6 weeks has shown to improve resilience via the vagus nerve. I originally purchased mine a couple of years ago for my son who was having trouble sleeping. When I saw the great results, I started using it myself and it really helps me fall asleep when I’m “tired and wired”. Discount code FARZANAH for £20 off

3- Diffuser - This is a great way to get calming essential oils into your space. Some essential oils also have antiviral and antibacterial properties that can help clear the air too. NEOM is one of my favourite brands for diffusers and oils but there are other great brands like Neal’s Yard. Just make sure you buy oils that are 100% essential oil and not synthetic fragrances and also be sure to check for safety if you have pets in the house as some are good for us but unfortunately toxic for some pets.

4- Caster Oil Pack - I’ve been using one for a couple of years now and love Castorvida’s pack as it’s easy to wrap around and use. Great for supporting the liver and hormones during the festive period and can actually promote deeper and more restful sleep. Click below and use the code FARZANAH15 for 15% off your purchase.

5- Fushi Wellbeing Products - I love all their products and these are four of my favourites. Shea butter is natural and clean and great for dry skin during the winter months. The cellulite oil is great to help keep your lymphatic system moving. I use Frankincense in the cellulite oil as it supports the lymph system further and the body brush is also great for the lymphatic system supporting healthy detox. The hair oil is great for dry hair. My hair feels drier in the winter and I find this magical. Code FARZANAH for 20% off everything on their website

6-Weighted Blanket - This is one of my favourite hacks to help with sleep and recent research is showing how it helps calm the nervous system. It’s like getting one continuous safe hug. I love the one by Remy because not only is it great for supporting sleep and relaxation but it looks gorgeous. You get 10% off with the below link:

7- Scented Candles - Many candles can look and smell gorgeous but many have toxic ingredients. I love the ones by NEOM as they are clean and loaded with essential oils and they really do smell lovely. I have no codes to share but they always have a great deal on their website so keep an eye out for discounts.

8- Red Light Therapy - I have a full-body one from Biolight to support energy and used it to help me with “Long C”. It was expensive but was a game-changer for me! Red light therapy has many benefits including anti-ageing effects, supporting thyroid health and reducing inflammation. A study showed it was able to reduce TPO antibodies which is incredible and great news for those with Hashimoto’s. My kids also use this to support healing when injured from playing sports. More information on their website (link below). There are other red light therapy products but after a lot of research, I bought mine from Biolight in the USA because it has the lowest flicker rate and EMF. Link for 10% off below.

KIKI - I love this green powder added to smoothies. It’s organic and an easy way to get some superfoods in. I add the liquid chlorophyll to water or matcha for some added goodness.

FUSHI Turmeric and Aloe Vera Juice - Juices are great ways to pimp drinks or smoothies and both of these are calming for the gut and anti-inflammatory. I also love the beautiful packaging.

MATCHA - For an antioxidant hit this can be used to make a latte, added to a smoothie, porridge or anything you want to increase nutrients in.

INVIVO PHHGG & BIO ME ORAL - If you follow me on Instagram you may see me use these regularly in my stories. I just love them for the magic they work in your gut! Remember your mouth is the beginning of your GI Track.

BETTER YOU MAGNESIUM - A great gift to help someone relax in the holidays. Allows them to fully recover by supporting better sleep!

MARINE COLLAGEN - Great gift to help someone support their blood sugar levels. It’s tasteless protein. I add this to my porridge, smoothies and hot drinks. Also great for skin and joints.

1- Chai by Mira - I’ve been loving these chai spices for a few years now. They are loaded with spices and have a bit of coconut sugar for sweetness. You can just stir into a warm drink. Buy from www.chaibymira.com.

2- MANIFEST The fabulous new book by Roxi Nafousi! It’s out in January but I think it’s such a lovely gift that you could buy it for a present and send them a note letting them know it’s on the way! Available to preorder on Amazon.

3- Exhale Coffee - I love coffee and this coffee is CLEAN! It’s mould free, loaded with antioxidants (seven punnets worth of blueberries per shot!) and the decaf is done by the clean mountain water method. www.yourexhale.co.uk

4-Wild Nutrition Natural Glow - The product is great (speak to your nutritionist before buying supplements) and the bottle is gorgeous!

5- Life Factory Water Bottle - Made of glass, so anything you put in it tastes lovely and is non-toxic! I travel with mine and take it everywhere. Available on Amazon.

6- Booja Booja Clean, simple, absolutely delicious chocolate truffles. Both gluten and dairy free with only a handful of real ingredients available from boojabooja.com

7- Hot Water Bottle - Relaxes me with a bit of extra warmth - so pretty and soft too. www.thewhitecompany.com

8- Happy socks - For something fun visit www.happysocks.com. My kids always love these!

9- Pukka Tea Selection - Love this! A great way to support your gut microbiome and get in loads of antioxidants. Available on Amazon, supermarkets, health shops & Pukka directly.

10-Seed it! Grow your own microgreens at home - a fun, creative and healthy gift!

11- Sukin - LOVE their super green range - leaves my skin feeling great.

12- Oura Ring - My fav biohacking tool! Helps track your sleep, your HRV (heart rate variability) and gives you information about your cycle and readiness scores. I’ve been using mine since February and love it.
