Dry Skin Brushing

Dry skin brushing is a simple and effective habit to support good lymphatic drainage and & healthy detoxification. Unlike the blood system that has the heart to pump blood around the body, the lymphatic system relies on movement for stimulation. The lymphatic system is also so important for immune health as it delivers immune cells to all parts of the body.

How to dry skin brush

Brush the skin once a day, before bathing or showering, using a natural bristle skin brush. Start at the soles of the feet and work your way up your legs, your front and your back, brushing lightly. Then do your hands and up your arms. Focus the brush strokes, when doing your chest and upper back, towards your heart. Brush the back of your neck and your scalp but do not do your face. If it’s uncomfortable in your neck region you can omit it.

If you don’t already have a natural bristle skin brush they can be purchased online or at Natural Dispensary with my discount code FN010 here. Please see the illustration below for more guidance on how to dry brush.
